Meet Dr. Sarah E. Laibstain
Dr. Sarah E. Laibstain, M.D., is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician in Carrollton, TX. Before coming to Texas, she practiced at the University of Florida Health Family Medicine-Old Town in Gainesville, FL. In this busy clinic, she practiced a wide range of family medicine. As a Clinical Assistant Professor, Dr. Laibstain taught third year medical students and was awarded the “Exemplary Teachers Award” from the University of Florida in 2013, 2014, and 2015. She brings a wealth of expertise and experience to our family practice in Carrollton and we are so thrilled she joined our team. In her free time, Dr. Laibstain enjoys running, biking, CrossFit, yoga, and spending time with her husband and dog, Simba.
Education & Training
Dr. Sarah E. Laibstain graduated Summa Cum Laude with her undergraduate degree in Biology at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. She then moved onto medical school at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, where she received her degree in medicine. Dr. Laibstain completed her residency at the Trident Medical Center at the University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. Following medical school she relocated to Florida where she taught medical students for several years before moving to Dallas, TX.

Dr. Sarah E. Laibstain is a general family medicine practitioner who thoroughly enjoys improving the health and lives of individuals ranging from young children to adulthood. Her special interests are women’s health, adolescent and adult medicine, joint problems, diabetes, hypertension and preventive medicine. She cares for all her patients with such attentiveness and special care. We are so glad to have her on our family practice team.
