Sophia Marin - Physician Assistant

Sophia is a board-certified Physician Assistant, completing her bachelor's degree in healthcare at UT Dallas, where she graduated with both academic and volunteer service honors. Once she obtained her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree from UT Rio Grande Valley, she moved back to Dallas to be near family. Prior to working as a family medicine physician assistant, Sophia worked as a pharmacy technician, plastic surgery medical assistant, and EMT.

Her professional memberships include the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.

Sophia is passionate about preventative care and patient advocacy, with special interests in nutrition, emergency medicine and dermatology. She is committed to her patients and looks forward to making a lasting positive impact.

Outside of work, Sophia finds joy in cooking, being an animal shelter volunteer, reading mystery books, and spending time with her partner.
