We recently moved to the DFW area from out of state and found Dr Hamilton's practice through word of mouth. Everybody we have dealt with at his practice has been very nice and helpful and the doctors are excellent, especially Dr. Hamilton. More

Dr. Joey Hamilton is wonderful. He truly cares about his patients. Our family has been going to him for 3 years and we have always been very happy with the care and followup he and the other drs. provide. My husband almost got sepsis from another "specialist" when he had a toenail removed. Dr Hamilton's office was available 24/7 and made him an emergency appointment. He followed up every few days to check the progress. Unlike the "specialist". When our daughter was sick, with Covid, the office called 3 times during the 10 days to check on her. There is an on call doctor to discuss symptoms with after hours and on the weekends. Thank you for being our doctor. More

Yes Dr Hamilton is very insistent on bi-monthly bloodwork for certain medications. It is true most MDs only require once a year. I, too, have been on my meds for 20 years, but Dr Hamilton is very thorough and documents everything which puts him above all the rest. In the scheme of things, I know if I ever have an emergency He will know exactly how to treat me. The only downside is that the practice is so large it is hard to get in to see him quickly. Very nice man whom I respect greatly. More

I'm being seeing Dr. Joey Hamilton for over 25 years and he's been a great advocate to help me with any of my sicknesses or illnesses. Always stresses the importance of an annual  physical, flu shoot and blood work. I've recommended Family Medicine a number of times to friends and family members. The entire staff is truly professional and always very helpful when trying to set an appointment on a tight schedule. Never once have I been charged for something that wasn't performed. They are always pleasant and polite when checking in and out. More

Dr. Hamilton takes great care of Sugar Bear and me. He saw us twice yesterday. Sugar Bear is in the process of having horns removed from his skull. (*LATE ADDITION TO REVIEW:  I had originally put something else here, but Sugar Bear re-wrote my original sentence concerning WHAT he was having removed...no one has commented on this, so I wonder if this review has actually EVER been read? 9/15/2009)  Dr. Hamilton has FINALLY gotten SB over his needle phobia so that he can get such procedures done. Thank you Dr. Hamilton! Maybe I can get SB into a tattoo parlor without him passing out! I saw Dr. Hamilton for a sinus infection yesterday. He hooked me up with some antibiotics and a cortisone shot. I’m feeling much more human today. Dr. Hamilton is wonderful because he tells you like it is. When I needed to lose weight, he gave me a REALLY GOOD come to Jesus speech that got me rolling on the diet and exercise plan. A hundred pounds later, I’m truly grateful to the man even though I was crying after that spiel about weight. The other thing that is great about Dr. Hamilton is he keeps on a schedule. You’ll never wait more than 10 minutes for your appointment if you show up on time. I love that because my schedule is always very tight and I don’t like to wait. Sugar Bear would tell you the best thing about Dr. Hamilton’s office are his nurses. They are beautiful and all look like they just walked out of a magazine. Don’t know how he gets all of the gorgeous ones, but it sure makes it easier for me to get SB to the doctor! More
